Despite dealing with an illness, Minnesota Timberwolves starting small forward Jimmy Butler is in the lineup Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks at home.
Butler was listed as questionable before the game started. When reports came out about him possibly missing the game, Timberwolves fans started to think that a Butler trade was finally going to happen to end this whole saga which began over six weeks ago.

However, it doesn't appear the Timberwolves are close to dealing Jimmy Butler, who is a four-time All-Star and one of the best two-way players in the NBA. The Houston Rockets and Miami Heat have renewed their bids to acquire Butler, with neither team meeting the demands of Minnesota's brass at the moment.
Jimmy Butler has played in four games this year. He missed the third game for the season versus the Dallas Mavericks for precautionary rest since he didn't play in the preseason. The 29-year-old swingman is averaging 24.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.
Butler has told the Timberwolves he will not re-sign with the club in the summer of 2019. He can become an unrestricted free agent if he declines his 2019-20 player option.
