“The vehicles collided around 9:22 a.m. as the SUV attempted to merge on the highway from Smith Way road at about mile marker 34, according to Blankenship. The intersection is just downvalley from RFTA’s Brush Creek Intercept Lot. The bus didn't have time to avoid the collision, so it broadsided the other vehicle and knocked it into the median. The highway was closed and traffic was diverted. The road reopened just after 11:30 a.m.”

He was very well respected around the league and had a lot of big-name clients. In 2016, Forbes magazine named him one of the best agents in the NBA.

“One of the industry's most respected basketball agents, Dan Fegan has developed a outstanding reputation for his pragmatic approach to contract negotiation and client representation. Representing a number of international basketball stars, including Nene and Ricky Rubio, as well as home grown all-stars Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons, Fegan continues to distance himself from his competitors as one of the industries best.”

His current list of clients at his time of death included names such as DeMarcus Cousins, Montra Ellis. Kris Humphries, Chandler Parsons, Ricky Rubio, and Larry Sanders.
