Ex-NBA shooting guard Ben Gordon has apparently found himself in trouble with the law yet again after he was arrested in Los Angeles for felony robbery on Saturday afternoon when he allegedly assaulted an apartment manager in the face before he took off with thousands of dollars.

According to law enforcement via a report from Scott Gleeson USA TODAY Sports, the 34-year-old went to the apartment complex where he used to reside with the intent of getting his security deposit back.

After there was a dispute in which Gordon allegedly put his hands on the apartment manager and threatened him, Gordon got back some of the security deposit and took off before the man called the police.

However, after police officers had already arrived at the building, Gordon came back to the apartment complex armed with a knife and demanded the rest of his money. Gordon was then immediately taken into custody by police and charged with felony robbery.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records, Gordon was transferred from a detention center to jail on Monday and is scheduled to be released today.

Gordon can't seem to stay out of trouble over the last few months. He was arrested back in June for allegedly pulling fire alarms at his apartment complex, was placed in a psychiatric hospital in October after he locked himself in a gym with a woman, and was arrested yet again earlier this month in New York City for driving with a forged license plate.

The guard played 11 full seasons in the NBA, averaged 14.9 points per game and won the 2005 NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award. His most recent action in the NBA came in the 2015-16 preseason with the Golden State Warriors, where he was waived by the team after he played just two games.
