Joe Burrow's sophomore season has been surreal. After missing a chunk of his rookie year due to an ACL tear, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback came back with a vengeance. Now, Burrow is on the brink of winning his hometown their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

His exploits in Cincinnati have garnered the attention of some Ohio stars. When asked about whether the Super Bowl appearance feels surreal to him, Joe Burrow countered by saying that getting tweeted at by Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is the more surreal feeling.

“I wouldn't call (reaching the Super Bowl) surreal. I would say it's exciting,” Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said of the win. “The situation that I'm in socially doesn't really feel real to me. Because, you know, in my head I'm just the same ol' guy. One of my idols growing up, Kid Cudi, reached out to me yesterday. You have LeBron tweeting at me or whatever … that part is surreal. The football part – not so much. That (other) stuff is crazy.

Burrow's answers have been entertaining to listen to. When asked whether he felt excited about their win over Las Vegas in the Wild Card round, he took a page out of Kobe's book and implied that the “job's not done.” Now, he has a chance to finish what he started and deliver the Bengals' first Super Bowl win.

As for LeBron, the Lakers star clearly supports Ohio sports figures. Burrow, being an Ohio native and playing for an Ohio team, has been excellent. However, LeBron James might find himself caught in the crossfire during the Super Bowl, as the Los Angeles Rams will be facing off against the Bengals for the Lombardi.

Either way, that matchup is sure to be exciting, based on their previous games so far.
