Kareem Jackson knows that amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the NFL has shutdown all team facilities indefinitely. However, that hasn't stop players from staying connected with their team. The Denver Broncos and many other teams in the NFL have been using the Zoom conference app to maintain group workouts.

During a Zoom conference call with reporters, Broncos strong safety Kareem Jackson shared his thoughts on the team's virtual meetings.

“I usually get up at about 6:15,” Jackson said on Tuesday. “I work out at about 7:15-7:30. I’m usually back home in enough time to jump on meetings. I think the virtual meetings have been going pretty good. We’ve been able to get things done as if we were in meetings. “I actually told the coaches, I said I think for the first two phases of OTAs we should do this that way everybody can stay home and do whatever we need to do. Then come in and we just practice in Phase 3 and minicamp. It’s been going pretty good. I think it’s been very productive for us.”

According to NBC Sports, Jackson has been working out at a private gym in Houston while patiently waiting for the NFL to reopen its facilities. The NFL has already set protocols for reopening team facilities; however, they haven't been officially opened up yet, including the Broncos.

This past season, Jackson had 71 tackles, two interceptions, and a 70-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Unfortunately, his season was cut short due to a two-game suspension. Nevertheless, he'll be seeking to get a fresh start this upcoming season on the Broncos revamped defense.
