Former NBA All-Star Dennis Rodman is scheduled to appear in court early next year following a hit-and-run incident he was involved in back in July, per James Queally of The News & Observer.
Four misdemeanor charges were filed against him, which includes causing a hit-and-run accident with property damage, driving across a highway divider, giving false information to police, and driving without a valid license.
The said incident occurred as the seven-time rebounding champion was driving his Range Rover the wrong way along the carpool lane on the 5 freeway in Santa Ana, California back in July, according to prosecutors. He even nearly crashed into another car causing it to hit a concrete barrier. Fortunately, the driver was not seriously hurt but the California Highway Patrol officers who were at the scene proceeded with filing charges against the former NBA player.
