Jake Paul is without a doubt one of, if not the biggest pay-per-view draw in the fight game today. This is not exactly ideal for the world of professional boxing but unfortunately, this is the harsh reality we are all living in today. Such is the power of YouTube and social media.

Apparently, ex-NBA player Kendall Gill wants all of that smoke. The former NBA journeyman recently took aim at Jake Paul in a scathing call out as he accused the YouTube superstar turned professional fighter of ducking a fight with him:

“Or maybe it’s u ⁦@jakepaulwho won’t sign & goes silent when you know u can’t beat someone who’s been calling u out for 2yrs! My team gave your promotion co everything they asked for to make it happen & then u tweet this. You’re a complete Joke!!” Gill wrote in his tweet.

To be honest, Kendall Gill is not the most popular player around. I'd say that majority of the younger generation don't even know who this man is. After all, it's been 17 years since he retired from the NBA.

For what it's worth, Gill was the fifth overall pick in the 1990 draft. He bounced around the league quite a bit, playing for no less than seven different teams in 15 years in the NBA.

Jake Paul likely knows of Gill the basketball player, but given his current popularity level — or lack thereof — a fight might not be as profitable for Paul as opposed to going in the ring against a  more high-profile opponent.
