Kevin Durant has had monstrous performances in this year's Olympic games. He just recently passed LeBron James as the #2 all-time leading scorer for Team USA only behind Carmelo Anthony. Now en route to close out Spain for the finals, Durant reflects on how he feels his contribution have affected Team USA as a whole.

“I told myself before I left my room, I’m at my best if I don’t care if we win or lose,” Durant told USA Today. “It might be different for other players. But for me, I’m more free and aggressive, and it's way more fun for me if I don’t care about the outcome. I know if I go out there and be who I am, the outcome will dictate itself.”

Some may disagree with Kevin Durant's assessment, but who can argue after seeing all his success? He is completely zoned in to put up points for Team USA however he knows how, and not thinking about the outcome just makes him more fluid in doing that.

If we continue to see this confidence burst from Durant, the newly formed Golden State Warrior team may be a lot more dangerous than any other team will have anticipated.
