One of the amazing things we've heard about the all-talented musical artist Prince is that he was pretty good at basketball. You'd see him at NBA games once in awhile, but he kept most of his doings private. Many of the basketball-related stories regarding Prince came from others who happened to interact with him.
Magic Johnson recently visited the the Jimmy Kimmel show, and had a few stories of his own. One of Magic's best reveals about Prince was that Prince was very competitive at basketball, or at least he thought he was.
(Prince) talked so much trash, he thought he had a real jump shot. I had to remember that it was Prince I was playing against, so I had to back off. He really thought he could play basketball.
The jump shot comment goes right in line with the infamous story given by Charlie Murphy about how Prince took he and his friends to school on the court, which was later confirmed by Samuel L. Jackson.

Whatever happened, Prince was at least able to stir Magic's competitive juices, and Magic was happy to share at least that much.
One thing about Magic and his nature on the court is that he would not stand to be beaten, so you can imagine who won that game of 1 on 1 between he and Prince, even if he didn't say so.
