Maybe they would like to challenge Team LeBron to a volleyball game instead, as Team Giannis isn't really favored to win the All-Star weekend's main event. Or maybe they are going to try to incorporate some volleyball plays during the game.
Or maybe they're just having fun.
Both Curry and Embiid will join Giannis Antetokounmpo in the starting line-up. Rounding up Team Giannis' starting five are Paul George and Kemba Walker.
The reserves for Team Giannis are Khris Middleton, Nikola Vucevic, Nikola Jokic, Russell Westbrook, D'Angelo Russell (who replaced Victor Oladipo), Blake Griffin, and Kyle Lowry.

The starters for Team LeBron are LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and Kawhi Leonard.
They will be backed up by Anthony Davis, LaMarcus Aldridge, Karl Anthony-Towns, Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard, and Ben Simmons.
Both teams were given a special pick during the All-Star draft. LeBron got Dwyane Wade, while Giannis drafted Dirk Nowitzki.
The All-Star game is expected to be jam-packed with highlights, as it will showcase some of the league's best players. Although they won't take the game seriously in the beginning, expect it to be more competitive in the second half.
