New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has more awards than he can count at this point. On Wednesday night, he took home another one.
Brady won the Best NFL Player award at the 2018 ESPYs, beating out the Los Angeles Rams duo of Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald, as well as Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who were the other three nominees.

It's only the second time Brady's won the award, with the first coming back in 2008.

Even at age 40, Brady showed no signs of slowing down as he had an outstanding season in 2017. He threw for a league-high 4,577 yards with 32 touchdowns and just eight interceptions to lead the Patriots to a 13-3 record and a second-straight Super Bowl berth. Those numbers were good enough to grab his third-career MVP award.
At this point, there should be no doubt who’s still the best in the league. Apart from his MVP and Best NFL Player award, Brady was also named the No. 1 player in the NFL Top 100 as voted on by his peers heading into the 2018 season.
With training camp set to begin next week, Brady will be looking to have another great season with the Patriots. Despite being a few weeks shy of his 41st birthday, don't put it beyond Brady to be right back up that stage next year to claim the award again.
