For the first time since 1979, the NBA playoffs will feature each conference finals series going to Game 7 with each matchup going the distance. This has put each of the four remaining teams in unique positions to all have a chance secure a trip to the NBA Finals.
However, San Francisco 49ers star cornerback Richard Sherman has voiced some skepticism about how things have reached this point by essentially stating that it could be rigged.

Although these comments came after the Cleveland Cavaliers forced a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, each of these series saw the home team win by double-digit margins with their backs against the wall in Game 6. Meanwhile, there is a prime opportunity for both the Celtics and Houston Rockets to change that narrative on their home floor.
This may draw the ire from fans that hold the perspective that Richard Sherman does, it should lead to what could be exciting finishes to each conference finals while setting up in the process an enticing NBA Finals matchup.
