One of the most intriguing bits in the latest episodes of “The Last Dance” was how Michael Jordan opened up about the pressure he has to endure as the best player in the world.
According to the Chicago Bulls legend, this is one of the aspects of his popularity that he has certainly struggled with.

Most people are mesmerized by the glitz and glamour of being an NBA superstar, but Jordan wants to remind us all that there is much more to the pomp and pageantry.

What made it even more difficult for him is the fact that his extremely competitive nature compelled him not only live up to but also try and exceed the expectations everyone had on him.
This was a different angle “The Last Dance” presented about Jordan. All throughout, fans saw him as the great basketball player that strove for success. He did it at all costs, and as it turns out, the journey took quite its toll on him.
It's not as if Jordan is complaining, however. He knew that the pressure was something that he was going to have to live with being the very best. He accepted the challenge without any hesitation and was able to pass all tests with flying colors.
Nevertheless, as Michael Jordan admitted in “The Last Dance,” it was an everyday struggle for him in coping with the pressure. Such is the strength and fortitude of his character that he was able to persevere despite the seemingly insurmountable odds — a further ode to his unparalleled greatness.
