Minnesota Timberwolves' forward Karl Anthony Towns and Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons seem to have a good relationship, one that includes playing a lot of video games.

Last week Simmons asked Towns who he was playing the next night while playing a game PUBG. When Towns responded with the Atlanta Hawks, Simmons told him he had plenty more time to play.

The next night all Towns did was drop 56 points against the Hawks setting a Timberwolves franchise record and helping them to a huge win.

The story, of course, took a life of its own after the franchise record, and on Monday night Simmons tried to set up Towns for it again.

Simmons once against asked Towns who he played tomorrow to which Towns  started laughing and said:

“Stop we not doing that again, we not doing that again, I'm not, na, I'm out.”

Simmons then asked Towns if he thought he would be asked about that comment after dropping 56 points, and Towns said that is the first thing he figured he would be asked about.

For Towns and the Wolves though they might need him to stay up late playing video games so he can set another franchise record.

The Timberwolves currently have a 44-34 record which puts them in 7th place in the Western Conference standings. They, however, are only 1.5 games ahead of the Denver Nuggets who sit in the 9th spot.

Without Jimmy Butler ready to return to the lineup quite yet, it makes the need for Towns and the likes of Andrew Wiggins and the rest of the team to really step up.
