DeAndre Ayton, Trae Young, Mo Bamba, and Michael Porter Jr. are among the top prospects who have declared for the 2018 NBA Draft. All three are favorites to be selected anywhere in the Top 10 with Ayton shaping up to be a unanimous top overall talent.
However, one player who hasn't received as much attention lately has been Slovenian sensation Luka Doncic. Understandably, everyone has their eyes locked in on the NCAA Tournament. But Doncic, while already making waves over in Europe, had just taken back some of the thunder with his latest performance.
Doncic scored 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out four dimes in Real Madrid's latest victory in the Spanish League. More importantly, he won the game with a cool and calm combination of a crossover and a smooth jumper with less than a second remaining on the clock.

Not many 19-year-olds in the world comfortable taking and making that shot on the road in an atmosphere like Pionir. Looked every bit of a potential #1 pick tonight. pic.twitter.com/VyFAeuUL0S

The move looked so routine for Doncic that it's scary to think what this teen can do when he reaches his ceiling. For perspective, he hasn't reached 20 years of age yet. He's playing in the second most competitive league in the world. But on top of that, he's been, by far, the best player on his team and it's not just any pedestrian club as Real Madrid is considered as a European powerhouse. Imagine what this kid can do once exposed to actual NBA training and development.
While his game isn't perfect — owing to his seven turnovers in the game — there is no denying the potential that Doncic holds. He may be the most celebrated talent coming out of Europe in NBA Draft history and teams are now in tank mode because of players like him.
