German soccer team Bayern Munich and Team USA men’s basketball team have more in common than you would expect. They both have a history of dominating an elite competition and have set the precedent for many aspiring sportsmen.
Bayern have been crowned the champions of Germany a total of twenty-six times, including the last four years consecutively, as well as winning the most prestigious award in club football, the European Cup, a total of five times. Team USA has managed to monopolize world basketball, picking up fourteen Olympic gold medals and winning the World Cup five times.
The two behemoths happened to both be visiting Chicago recently for exhibition games and paid a visit to one another, as documented on Bundesliga’s YouTube channel.

Following the game, the athletes posed for pictures and congratulated each other after taking a break from a busy schedule of summer preparation.
