Sabrina Ionescu absolutely balled out for the New York Liberty in their blowout win over the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday. How good was the WNBA star? Well, we can say she was Stephen Curry-good!
The Liberty guard exploded for 26 points in the huge 88-69 win. She also did it on an incredible 10-of-11 shooting–going 4-for-4 from the 3-point line.
What's even more impressive was the difficult of shots she made. Before the second quarter ended, the WNBA guard banked a half-court shot to beat the buzzer and increase their lead to eight points.
Furthermore midway through the third quarter, she had a heat check moment when she took a three from way beyond the 3-point arc. Of course she made it to the frustration of the Lynx.

Now that is some insane display of marksmanship and scoring. And hey, when was the last time you saw an NBA player score 25-plus points and register 90 percent shooting with those kind of shooting?
Sabrina Ionescu's Stephen Curry-like display was exactly what the Liberty needed after a rather poor start to the 2022 WNBA campaign. They improved to 4-8 on the season with the win, seemingly recovering now after losing seven straight at the start of the year. They are now 3-1 in their last four games and seems to be a team on the rise.
Hopefully as Ionescu continues to dominate offensive, the Liberty also improve their WNBA standing.
