There's a lot of things which New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson does on the basketball court which make your jaw drop.

His powerful dunks are already breaking backboards and he's flying through the air just like Michael Jordan did with the Chicago Bulls. The fact that Williamson is signed with Jordan Brand and wearing Jordan's while dunking just feels right.

Pelicans veteran shooting guard JJ Redick, however, has been most impressed by Williamson's efficiency and consistency:

“What’s been most impressive is the level of efficiency,” Redick said, via Nola.com. “A lot of times with really talented players at that age, you’re going to see flashes of brilliance. He’s brought a level of brilliance and intensity every night. The consistency has just been remarkable.”

Through his first 12 NBA games, Williamson is averaging 22.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He's shooting 58.6 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from beyond the arc and 60.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pelicans are 7-5 with Williamson in the lineup and 25-32 overall on the season. They are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings.

It would be a great story if Williamson is able to lead the Pelicans to the playoffs after missing the beginning of the season recovering from his knee surgery. After all, Redick has never missed the playoffs in his NBA career, which has included stints with the Magic, Bucks, Clippers and Sixers, and he already told Williamson at the start of the season to not mess up his playoff streak.
