New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson continues to make jaw-dropping plays in his rookie season. The 2019 No. 1 overall pick's latest highlight happened on Sunday as the Pelicans matched up with the first-place Los Angeles Lakers.
A perfect alley-oop pass from Lonzo Ball made his former teammate Kyle Kuzma the victim of a vicious slam from the 6-foot-6, 285-pound Williamson.

After missing the Pelicans' first half of the season due to injury, the 19-year-old phenom has gotten off to a hot start as a rookie. Through 14 games, the former Duke star is averaging 23.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while playing less than 30 minutes per game and shooing an efficient 58.1 percent from the field.
Sunday was the second time this week the two teams faced off. In the previous game on February 25, Williamson ended up with 29 points, six rebounds and three assists in the 118-109 loss.
