The New Orleans Pelicans have waived guard Anthony Brown, according to the team.
Brown had a very short stint with the Pelicans, being part of the roster for only a little over two weeks.
The move comes at the heels of an 0-for-7 performance for Anthony Brown in a 99-88 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. While there was certainly potential, it just has not materialized for the young man.

The 24-year-old guard averaged 3.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists on 34.1 percent shooting from the floor and 25 percent from deep through nine games this season.
With a roster down to 14 players, expect the Pelicans to fire up a new addition to the team in the near future.
