The New York Knicks rebuild is still a work in progress. Through 19 games, the Knicks stand at 4-15, tying the franchise record for worst start to a season according to ESPN Stats & Info. A 4-15 stretch to start the season has happened three times before in team history and most recently in 2014-15.

Despite No. 3 overall pick RJ Barrett playing well for the team so far and the Knicks possessing other young talent such as Mitchell Robinson and Kevin Knox, New York has struggled to score the ball ranking second to last in the NBA in scoring per game at 101.4.

Other than Barrett, veteran forwards Marcus Morris Sr. and Julius Randle have paced the team with 18.7 and 16.7 points per game respectively.

In addition to scoring struggles, the Knicks also rank 29th in assists per game and 28th in field goal percentage.

The Knicks 4-15 clip puts them tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with the Atlanta Hawks and only half a game behind the Golden State Warriors for worst record in the league.

Most recently, the Knicks fell to the 76ers at home 101-95 — a game where the Knicks held a 12-point halftime lead.
