If you somehow haven't heard today, Carmelo Anthony has been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for forwards Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a second-round pick.
Enes Kanter was always vocal about his pride and passion for OKC, but he understands the circumstances that put him on a plane to play in the Big Apple. At the end of the day, he understands the NBA is a business, and he was a part of a package deal.

“When I lost my family and when I lost home, you guys gave me family, and you guys gave me home,” Kanter said in the video above. “So that’s why Oklahoma and this organization, whole state, will be always in my heart.”
Kanter also offered one last plea for the Thunder as he takes off to the Eastern conference.
“I want to say please beat the Warriors for me,” Kanter noted. “Please. I’m gonna be watching that game, so please beat the Warriors for me.”
