After seeing the likes of Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum and Dennis Smith Jr., among others, debut for their teams in the preseason, another one of this year's highly touted rookies will also do the same on Tuesday night.
Eighth overall pick and New York Knicks point guard Frank Ntilikina will be available to play for his team against the Brooklyn Nets, and will give their fans a chance to see him play for the first time inside Madison Square Garden.
Jeff Hornacek says Frank Ntilikina (groin) will play and Joakim Noah will be out along with Baker, Kuzminskas and Kornet.

Despite missing their practice session the day before, the 19-year-old French international will give it a go to test his conditioning and find out the exact condition of his injury. It will also be his first time to play with his teammates against another NBA team, and will give the New York faithful a glimpse of what they're hoping for will be their one-two punch for years to come in Ntilikina and Kristaps Porzingis.
Although Ntilikina is not expected to receive major minutes on the night, it will be a good opportunity for him to further immerse himself with the league's style of play, and also assess the competition they'll face this coming season. It will be very interesting to see him run the point, and find out how effective he'll be on the floor. Should he play well, it will be a huge boost to his confidence, and could carry on once the regular season starts.
