The New York Knicks are hoping to look a lot different come the start of the 2019-20 regular season. However, while most Knicks fans are hoping for a new-look roster, the struggling Eastern Conference franchise has only given them a revamped coaching staff at this point in the offseason.
With former Knicks and current University of Michigan Wolverines assistant coach Howard Eisley recently leaving the “Big Apple” in favor of Ann Arbor, the team has not waited very long in finding a replacement and is expected to call Westchester Knicks head coach Mike Miller to join David Fizdale's coaching staff for the 2019-20 season.
Miller previously earned Coach of the Year honors for his work with Westchester in the G League back in 2017-18.
Per Ian Begley of SNY:

“Barring an unforeseen change, Westchester Knicks coach Mike Miller is expected to join David Fizdale’s staff as an assistant next year, per SNY sources. Miller was G league coach of the year in 17-18. Assistant Howard Eisley left NYK recently for Juwan Howard’s staff at Michigan.”
Of course, the Knicks will have some serious money to spend this offseason. The only problem may be attracting more than one high-level free agent to New York so they ncan utilize both of their max contract slots.
It is also worth noting that the Knicks currently own the No. 3 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft as well.
