New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis is open to playing for the New York Knicks, according to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report.
Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the Pelicans. The Brow can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020. It is unknown if New Orleans is going to trade Davis this season or in the summer.

League sources believe they have “a strong chance” of luring Durant should he leave the Golden State Warriors this summer and that Davis is “open” to New York as a landing place as well. Throw in a pick in this year's NBA draft that could potentially add Duke's Zion Williamson or RJ Barrett or Murray State's Ja Morant, and there's finally a reason for optimism in Manhattan.
If Anthony Davis is on the Knicks, other superstars may want to join him in The Big Apple.
Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler and Kyrie Irving can all become free agents after this season ends. The Knicks will have cap space to sign one of those star players.
New York hasn't made the playoffs since 2013. The franchise has been a walking disaster since then. Acquiring Anthony Davis would change the fortunes of the team right away and give the fans in New York some optimism that positive change is coming.
