The New York Knicks have just completed another disappointing season, finishing the 2017-18 campaign with a 29-53 record, which was even worse from the one they had in the previous year. The Knicks have not had a winning season since 2012-13, which was also the last time they made it to the postseason.

Obviously, this team could use some changes in order to right its ship. That’s a responsibility mostly on the shoulders of the Knicks’ front office. Of course, the players also have a role to play in turning things around in Gotham, but for Enes Kanter, the only change he’s done so far in the offseason is the color of his hair.

Hair color has never been a barometer of success in the NBA, though, Dennis Rodman might not agree to that exactly. But for Kanter, this is purely all for fun. Or maybe, the whitening of his hair was just the effect of being so stressed playing for such a dysfunctional franchise like the Knicks.

In any case, Kanter does seem to be enjoying his vacation. He’s going to have to savor it. In a few months, he’ll back to training in preparation for another season.

Enes Kanter played 71 games this season for the Knicks and averaged 14.1 points and 11.0 rebounds. He also shot a career-high 59.2 percent from the field.
