UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor stopped by Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks, for some of his press obligations prior to UFC 205, the first major professional MMA event held in New York City.
Before wrapping up, McGregor picked up a basketball and shot a lefty jumper from the top of the key, rattling up and in to his own surprise. Take a look.

Not the best-looking jump shot, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
McGregor (20-3-0) will face the Lightweight Division champion Eddie Alvarez (28-4-0) in the main event of the evening, hoping to dethrone him and add an extra belt around his waist come Saturday night.
UPDATE: McGregor won the fight against Alvarez on Saturday at MSG.
