It's quite obvious that Oklahomans and Oklahoma City Thunder fans are not as high on Kevin Durant these days compared to before. They don't want to hear a single word from his letter posted on The Players'Tribune about moving to the Golden State Warriors.
But imagine hearing it being read in Morgan Freeman's voice. The soothing, comforting, and calming nature of his vocals will make it sound like an apology letter.
Well, that's what comedian Frank Caliendo did. Not only did he just read it, he nailed using Mr. Freeman's voice.
In the past, he has recited Alex Rodriguez's apology letter in the actor's voice, as well as Jon Gruden and Chris Berman's. He has also read LeBron James‘ “I'm Coming Home” letter in Morgan's legendary voice. This may be the reason why he has received quite a number of requests lately to ream KD's letter.
