Making history this season, Russell Westbrook become the second player ever to average a triple-double. The first was Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson, who also previously held the record for most triple-doubles in a season with 41. Westbrook has that record now, picking up his 42nd triple-double with a 50-point, 16-rebound, 10-assist performance in Oklahoma City‘s 106-105 comeback victory over the Nuggets on Sunday. And since Westbrook has now surpassed Robertson as the triple-double king, the Hall of Fame guard is heading to Oklahoma City to watch the Thunder All-Star play.
According to ESPN's Royce Young, Robertson will be at Wednesday's game between the Thunder and the Nuggets in Oklahoma City. Robertson will also reportedly take part in a special ceremony before the game.

The Thunder are advising fans to be in their seats 30 minutes prior to tipoff for a "special ceremony." Oscar Robertson will be part of it.

With Robertson in attendance, it should be a special night in Oklahoma City for Westbrook and the Thunder.
