The former MVP and four-time scoring champion's foundation has been reported to have recently donated $57,000 to a school for homeless children in Oklahoma City, which will be used to buy a land and build a new institute.
This comes after he also personally delivered shoes last Christmas to the children also under Positive Tomorrow's care. Durant had said in the past that homeless kids have a special place in his heart and that he understands the hardships they are going through as he also had difficult times during his childhood, which he talked about during his MVP acceptance speech back in 2014.

Durant will play his first game in OKC wearing a different jersey on February 11 and it will be interesting how he'll be welcomed by the fans especially inside Chesapeake Energy Arena.
