Russell Westbrook was recently named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Month for games played in October and November.

This did not come as a surprise to many as the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard is currently averaging a triple-double with 31.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 11.2 assists through the first 20 games of the season. He has also accomplished a feat no other player has done in the last 55 years and replicated what Oscar Robertson did with double-digit averages in three categories entering December.

Westbrook is currently in the midst of a great run with four consecutive triple-doubles and has led his team to three-straight victories. The Thunder are now in fifth place in the Western Conference with their 12-8 record.

If the 28-year-old UCLA alum continues to produce the same kind of numbers throughout the campaign, it should be expected that he'll win not only more of these honors but also be a favorite for the MVP award as well by the end of the regular season.

Other players from the same conference who received votes were Kevin Durant, James Harden, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kawhi Leonard.
