The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Phoenix Suns on Friday and All-Star small forward Paul George is questionable to play.

According to Royce Young of ESPN, the Thunder listed Paul George as 50-50 to play due to right quadriceps contusion. George has yet to miss a game for Oklahoma City this season, having started in all of their 33 games so far.

George is having the best statistical season of his NBA career this year. The five-time All-Star is averaging 26.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 39.0 percent from beyond the arc and 84.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The Thunder are 21-12 on the season, good for third place in the tough Western Conference. OKC, however, has lost two games in a row entering their matchup with the Suns.

The Thunder lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home before falling to the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day.

Against the Rockets, Paul George scored 28 points in 37 minutes while shooting 10-of-25 overall and 4-of-9 from the 3-point line. If George can't play against the Suns, the Thunder's offense will run exclusively through point guard Russell Westbrook, who is averaging a triple-double on the season.

OKC will update George's status on Friday throughout the day.
