After spending just one year together as teammates, Oklahoma City Thunder stars Paul George and Russell Westbrook have formed quite a bond. George has even credited his relationship with the former MVP as one of the main reasons behind his decision to stay on with the Thunder.

However, George has a unique way of describing his buddy, labeling Westbrook as a bit of an “a-hole.”

“You've got guys in the league that have that — I would say ‘a–hole' in them that people think Russ has,” George says, via Royce Young of ESPN. “And that's fine. That's fine to be an a–hole. You should be an a–hole at some point.”

George just publicly admitted that he thinks Westbrook is indeed an “a-hole.” However, he went on to say that his teammate is a “good a-hole.”

“The difference is, you've got guys that are a–holes that don't care to be your teammate. Russ is going to be there, regardless if he's getting on you, if he's chewing you out,” George explained. “If it's something he feels he needs to address with you, he's going to do it. But he's going to be your teammate at the end of the day. He's going to have your back, he's going to stand his ground and he's going to go to war with you. After, he's going to laugh, he's going to joke — that's Russ. He's a different type of teammate.”

That's definitely one way of looking at it. Regardless, based on George's comments, Westrbook is certainly one “a-hole” we'd all love to have on our team, but would absolutely hate on an opposing side.
