Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul gifted his teammates with custom suits. Steven Adams, who is not fond of wearing suits, initially wanted to hang it up. But then, Paul told the team that they'll have to wear it before the game.
Adams had no choice but to wear it, noting that the ‘weird little things' in the suit made it extra difficult. Nevertheless, he added a bit of spice, donning a newsboy cap and even went to the barber to get his beard trimmed.
On the hat, Adams said he was watching Peaky Blinders on Netflix and he went to get a beard trim and they were selling them. "So I bought one and I was just like, 'Oh, I'll wear this one day.' Happened to get a suit and I was like 'Hey! I get to use it!'"

The Thunder big man pointed out that the last time he wore a suit was in the 2013 NBA Draft and in Russell Westbrook's Oklahoma Hall of Fame induction. He joked that he very last time will be at his funeral.
Adams said CP3 had the idea to get everyone custom suits back in preseason. The team got fit a few games into the season and the suits just came in today. "He was like 'wear it to the game, it's a team thing.' I was like 'Ah s—, I have to wear it.' I was just gonna hang it up."

The Thunder wore the suits before the game against the Memphis Grizzlies — a contest they won despite being down by 24 points. A total of six players scored in double figures. Denis Schroder led the way with 31 points, followed by Danilo Gallinari and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 20 points each. Adams himself had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
They have won two straight games and will host the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
