The Orlando Magic will be a heavy underdog in their first-round showdown with the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Playoffs, which is set to kick off on Saturday.
The Magic are one of the most surprising teams in the league this season, while the Raptors were always considered as a contender after acquiring Kawhi Leonard last summer.
But while most people are already counting them out, Magic guard Evan Fournier is confident of their chances in the playoffs.
Fournier told Josh Robbins of The Athletic that they feel they can go toe-to-toe with any team in the league. He pointed out that they are aware of the potential of their team, and their success will just depend on how consistent they will be in the postseason.

There were doubts about their chances of advancing to the playoffs late in the regular season, but the Magic played with sense of urgency, knowing that their backs are against the wall. Orlando won in 11 of their last 13 games to clinch a playoff spot with a 42-40 record.
Fournier is the third-best scorer of the Magic, as he averaged 15.1 points in 81 games. Nikola Vucevic led the way for the Orlando with 20.8 points and 12.0 rebounds in 80 games, while Aaron Gordon posted 16.0 points and 7.4 rebounds.
Terrence Ross tallied 15.1 points in 81 games, all coming off the bench.
