The Orlando Magic are adding the finishing touches to their squad for the upcoming season. It is now being reported that the Magic front office has decided to sign former Atlanta Hawks big man Isaac Humphries on an Exhibit 10 deal:

Humphries was an undrafted rookie last season who suited up for the Hawks for only five games throughout the campaign. The Australian national averaged just 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds during this spell.

Humphries, 21, still has shown enough potential to warrant an Exhibit 10 deal with Orlando. This specific type of contract is effectively an invitation to training camp with a chance to earn a spot on the regular-season roster or on the G League team. A lengthy spell with the Lakeland Magic, Orlando's G League affiliate team, is a decent bet for Humphries.

As for the rest of the Magic roster, the front office has performed admirably well this offseason. The team was successfully able to convince All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic to agree to a new four-year, $100 million deal, making him Orlando's cornerstone big man for the foreseeable future.

The Magic were also able to retain the services of free agents Terrence Ross (four years, $54 million), Khem Birch (two years, $6 million), and Michael Carter-Williams (one-year deal). Orlando also beefed up its frontcourt with the addition of former Portland Trail Blazers forward Al Farouq-Aminu (three years, $29 million) via free agency.
