The Orlando Magic will be without starting point guard Markelle Fultz on Wednesday when they host LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fultz is dealing with a stomach virus.

The Magic are 11-12 on the season, good for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
In 23 games this season for the Magic, Fultz is averaging 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists. The former No. 1 overall pick is shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 79.2 percent from the free-throw line.
Article Continues BelowAs everyone knows, Fultz had a bizarre start to his NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers. He had only played in 33 games entering the 2019-20 season due to scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder and Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
The Magic acquired Fultz from the Sixers at the 2019 February trade deadline in the hopes of revitalizing his quickly fading career. So far with Orlando, Fultz has been playing well on both sides of the floor.
The Magic exercised their fourth-year team option on Fultz for the 2020-21 season, so it’s clear they have faith in the youngster. Orlando is trying to make the playoffs again this season. They lost to the Toronto Raptors in the first round in five games last season.
On Wednesday, the Magic welcome back former star Dwight Howard.
