The Orlando Magic beat the Sacramento Kings in their Summer League showdown on Saturday, but fans couldn't be happy with the win after spotting Paolo Banchero looking injured.
After the Magic's narrow 94-92 victory, Banchero was seen with a noticeable limp. The no. 1 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft sought for a trainer to check the left ankle that was clearly bothering him.

While it is unknown how Paolo Banchero sustained the injury and what's the extent of it, the issue is clearly concerning. The former Duke star has been sensational for the Magic in the Summer League so far, but they cannot afford to further risk him.

It remains to be seen what the Magic will do with Banchero. If his ankle is fine and there is no risk of the injury worsening, it is safe to expect him to continue playing. However, fans shouldn't be surprised as well if Orlando decides to wrap things up for him. After all, the 19-year-old has certainly shown enough to convince the team and prove to everyone that he is ready for the NBA.
Here's to hoping that the injury is not serious and that we'll get to see more of Banchero throughout the whole Summer League in Las Vegas.
