Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon made sure his team came out of the Golden 1 Center with a W in hand on Monday, nailing the go-ahead basket to hand the Sacramento Kings a 114-112 defeat.
With the Magic down by one point with under four seconds left in regulation, Evan Fournier was unable to get a shot off due to De'Aaron Fox's tight defense. The French shooting guard had the presence of mind to give the ball up while mid-air, locating Gordon who had a mismatch underneath.

Gordon absorbed some contact on the low block before flipping a shot that gave his team a one-point lead. The Magic high-flyer was also fouled on the play and drained the bonus free throw for good measure.
Aaron Gordon finished with 19 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes, while Nikola Vucevic and Evan Fournier led Orlando with 26 and 25 markers, respectively.
For the Kings, Fox finished with a near triple-double of 31 point, eight rebounds and 10 assists, while Nemanja Bjelica had 34 markers on top of seven boards and two dimes.
The Magic improved to 19-21 with the win, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. Sacramento, meanwhile, dropped to 15-25 as they remain out of the West playoff picture.
