Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James recently said it would be incredible if New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis came to LA.

New Orleans general manager Dell Demps wasn't a fan of James' comments, telling local reporters he's going to leave it up to the NBA to determine if LeBron and the Lakers should get fined for tampering.

Now, a Pelicans staffer is getting in on the fun, reportedly telling ESPN's Zach Lowe that a reporter should ask LeBron James who the Lakers should/would trade for Anthony Davis.

One Pelicans staffer suggested that reporters ask James which teammates he would trade for Davis.

The Pelicans are trying their best to get LeBron James and the Lakers fined and it's hilarious. Anthony Davis to LA rumors have picked up heavy steam ever since AD signed with LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. Davis can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020. The Pelicans can offer him the supermax contract after this season.

Since getting drafted No. 1 overall by the Pelicans, Davis has only advanced past the first-round of the playoffs once. For an elite player, that has to be killing him inside. Until Davis signs an extension with the Pelicans, his future in The Big Easy is going to be a topic of discussion.
