For 19 years, Jamal Crawford has thrilled NBA fans with a devastating crossover and an effortlessly smooth jumper. But as he nears the end of his sparkling career, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year remains unsigned.

As organizations look to improve their squad with last minute offseason additions, at least one player seems to be rooting for his team to land the free agent sharpshooter.

On Twitter, a Philadelphia 76ers fan opined that Crawford would make a great addition to the Sixers, and asked Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to get behind the recruiting process.

While Embiid is the player that is usually hyperactive on social media, Simmons was the first to respond, liking the tweet to show his support.

Crawford would certainly make an interesting addition to the Sixers lineup, adding depth to a bench that at times looked overmatched in their playoff duel with the Celtics.

His signing could also give the Sixers another knockdown shooter to join J.J. Reddick.

Crawford is shooting a solid 35 percent for his career from the 3-point stripe. While that number doesn't exactly scream dead-eye shooter, Crawford is known for taking and making off the dribble 3-pointers which are the hardest shot in the game.

Unfortunately for the Sixers, they currently have a full roster and would have to move someone via trade or buy-out from their current roster to make room for Crawford.

While the Sixers will most likely not end up signing Crawford, it would be shocking to see him go unsigned through the whole offseason. More likely than not, a playoff contender will end up giving the swingman a one-year contract to acquire a scoring punch off the bench.
