Joel Embiid has vowed to stop the trash talk for good. Maybe. Perhaps. Mayhaps?

Embiid has duked it out with plenty of NBA players, whether it is with postgame media quotes or through social media. The most prominent among them is Hassan Whiteside, who now resides on the opposite coast after being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers.
It seems the 7-footer is entirely focused on this season and its outcome, leaving all the petty stuff aside and doing everything in his power to erase the pain of losing in the Eastern Conference Semifinals the way his team did in Game 7 — only able to watch as a corner jumper bounced around the rim and dropped to send his Sixers home.
