The Philadelphia 76ers are one game away from defeating the Washington Wizards and making their way to the second round. After the Sixers got the unfortunate news of Joel Embiid and the latest regarding his injury, they had to press on without their MVP candidate. However, there might have been a bit of good luck as Meek Mill rang the bell in front of a packed Wells Fargo Center before Game 5.

The Sixers need to win Game 5 and give Embiid as much time to rest before the next round. The Wizards came storming back in Game 4 after Embiid went down and ran away with a victory in Washington DC.
Without Embiid, they will need a lot of help, even with Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris playing well. The packed arena full of Sixers fans with surely help, and head coach Doc Rivers spoke on the Embiid injury before the game as he expects him back at some point in their playoff run.
Article Continues BelowAs for Game 5, hopefully Meek Mill ringing the bell will provide the team with a bit of a spark as the Sixers hope to close out the Wizards before prolonging the series even further.
The Sixers shouldn't have a problem beating the Wizards, although their second-round opponent of either the New York Knicks or Atlanta Hawks could poise some issues without Embiid.
