Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris had some strong words for Odell Beckham Jr. in response to the comments the Cleveland Browns wide receiver made amid the protests over George Floyd's killing.
Beckham Jr. pushed back against criticisms placed onto people who chose to remain silent during the turbulent times of racial unrest, saying that it's a lose-lose situation if someone remains silent or don't speak up against the racial injustice that is happening in the nation.

The if u don’t speak up or ur silent ur against us etc. for me it’s a tough position actually a lose lose lose.”
Harris respectfully disagreed with Beckham Jr.'s opinion however, arguing that remaining silent or abstaining from outward activism is contributing to the widespread problems. The Sixers veteran pointed out that not doing anything suggests someone is on the other side.
“Respectfully family, if you’re silent, we don’t know what side you’re on. And if we don’t know what side you’re on, it is safe to assume you’re on the other side…” tweeted the Sixers star.
Odell Beckham Jr. shared his outrage on Twitter over the weekend and admitted to being uncertain how to best speak on the complicated issues at hand.
“IM FRUSTRATED. More so because I don’t even kno how to speak or comment on this issue that’s been goin on for so long. I hate feeling defeated as if the words I wanna say will@never be enough to stop what’s goin on. I’m Tired. People are losing brothers sisters daughters”.
