The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly expressed trade interest in New York Knicks power forward Noah Vonleh, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

Noah Vonleh signed a one-year, $1.62 million deal with the Knicks in free agency last summer. The 23-year-old has appeared in 43 games this year for New York and is averaging 8.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

Vonleh began his NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets, getting drafted as the ninth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Indiana University. He only played one season in Charlotte, though, as the team traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers in the summer of 2015.

After spending two and a half seasons with Portland, the Trail Blazers traded Vonleh to the Chicago Bulls last year. The 6-foot-9 Massachusetts native played in 21 games with the Bulls.

Vonleh has career averages of 4.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 274 NBA games. He's a good rebounder and rim protector, but he is limited in what he can do on the offensive end.

The Sixers start Wilson Chandler at the power forward spot right now and have Mike Muscala as his backup. Vonleh can play the power forward and center position. Philly has All-Star big man Joel Embiid and Amir Johnson anchoring the center spot.
