Much has been said about the conundrum that is Markelle Fultz's shooting stroke. From being a beast in the college ranks that earned him the top overall selection in last June's draft, the Philadelphia 76ers rookie has plummeted into a mysterious abyss, no thanks to a shoulder injury that has caused the Sixers guard's shot to become absolutely broken.

While Fultz has been deemed healthy enough to return to the court, Sixers head coach Brett Brown still wants to see drastic improvements in Fultz's stroke before allowing him to take the court once again. But this footage of the point guard which was taken prior to the game versus the San Antonio Spurs might make Brown reconsider his stance.

As terrific as the shot looks, though, the unfortunate fact is that this might be the highlight of Fultz's debut NBA season thus far. To make matters worse, the immediate future still doesn't hold any promise.

The Sixers had to give up two first round picks — one of which was transformed by the Boston Celtics into Jayson Tatum — in order to get the opportunity to secure their shot at Fultz. To this day, however, the Washington product still could not get his own shot right.

All is not lost for Fultz, and the Sixers know that it's not the end of the world either. They were able to endure Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons being out for so long, making the wait on Fultz, who is not facing any threat of missing the season, seem just like a light exercise on their patience.
