Not being voted into the 2020 All-Star Game is one thing. But getting dropped on a crossover by Khris Middleton is a whole other type of embarrassment for Devin Booker.

After being snubbed out of his first All-Star selection for the 2020 All-Star Game, Booker matched up against the Milwaukee Bucks forward. Unfortunately for the Suns guard, he was dropped — hard. Check out this behind-the-back crossover by Middleton which floored the young Suns star.

Despite averaging 27.1 points per game — eighth-best in the NBA — the 23-year-old Booker was not voted into NBA All-Star Game. A large reason why Booker likely was snubbed out of the big game is due to the Suns' record. Phoenix holds a 20-28 record, which is the 11th-best mark in the West. In other words, they're unlikely to make the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

Needless to say, Booker took his frustrations out on the voting process, calling it “political.”

“It was always a goal of mine, but it just re-proves the point that the NBA is different than the game that I fell in love with at the beginning of all the best players in the All-Star game growing up,” Booker said to the media after Friday's team practice. “And now it's an entertainment, drama, political-filled league. But we're a part of it now. It pays well, so I guess we should be quiet about it.”

While Booker should be frustrated about his All-Star snub, he should be even more frustrated from being dropped to the floor.
