The Los Angeles Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns series has been an absolute roller coaster thus far. As the Suns take Game 4, the games will only get more compelling.
But let's take a moment to appreciate the two figureheads in this epic battle – LeBron James and Chris Paul. The two grizzled veterans took center stage in this pivotal matchup, leading both their teams in scoring and assisting. Paul finished with 18 points and nine assists, to spearhead the Suns' balanced attack. James meanwhile tallied 25 points and 12 assists, as he buoyed the Lakers til the bitter end.
Their efforts combined actually brought them a shared NBA record, by virtue of them being both 35 or older.

The record isn't just for the postseason, either. It's one for the NBA history books, regular season or playoffs. It's just a testament to how impressive both players have aged throughout their respective careers. The Suns and Lakers oldies even generated some MVP buzz at one point or another this season.
Chris Paul also notched another record in their Game 4 victory, this time passing a different Lakers icon – Magic Johnson. CP3 was efficient as ever, diming without doing damage to his own club with any miscues.
Chris Paul finished with 9 assist & 0 TO's in the Suns win over the Lakers.
