The Phoenix Suns may be a young team with little experience in the playoffs, but Chris Paul doesn't think that will be an issue in their title bid. Besides, while the team may be young, Devin Booker and Co. are all old souls.

Speaking after their Game 4 win in the Western Conference Finals on Saturday, Paul highlighted that most of his Suns teammates–though young in paper–are actually older inside. He specifically pointed out Booker, saying he is the “oldest” 24-year-old he has ever met.

“We got a young team but with some old souls. Especially Book. He's like an old man. He's the oldest 24-year-old I've ever met in my life. … The biggest thing, he know the game. … He watch every game, every night just like me,” CP3 said, via NBA on ESPN.

Chris Paul, Jae Crowder and Torrey Craig are only the 30-year-old players on the team, so one can really say that the Suns are a pretty young team. It is also worth noting that three of the team's starters–Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges–are all below 25.

Nonetheless, while most of the players on the roster are playing in their first postseason, it hasn't really hindered the team in any way. They have made it all the way to the conference finals, beating the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets along the way. After Saturday's victory against the Clippers, they also took a 3-1 lead in their series.

Simply put, the Suns may be young, but they have a veteran mentality that is resilient to whatever is thrown at them.
