It sure looks like Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is enjoying the playoffs, especially as he watches Devin Booker blossom into a true superstar with the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns have taken a 2-0 lead against the Los Angeles Clippers in their Western Conference Finals series, and Booker has played a starring role in that with the absence of Chris Paul. He was phenomenal in Game 1 of the series, putting up his first career-triple double with 40 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. While he struggled a bit in Game 2, his presence alone opened up the floor for his teammates to score.
Lillard, who has always been a fan of Booker's game, just had to remind everyone that he is right about the Suns star all along.
I tried to tell y’all about Devin Booker. 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/aSxs3JlamD

For what it's worth, Damian Lillard has expressed his admiration for Devin Booker multiple times in the past. In 2020, he was even quoted saying that the Suns scorer is his “personal favorite” to watch, so he always makes sure to catch the games of the team whenever he can.
In the 2020 All-Star Game, Dame also endorsed Booker to replace him in the festivities after he suffered a groin injury.
By the looks of it, everyone now knows who Dame is rooting for to win in the West Finals and move on to the NBA Finals for a shot at the Larry O'Brien trophy.
With the way the Suns and Booker are playing, there is a good chance Lillard won't be disappointed.
